Hi This is Evangelist Anh Le, welcome to the

real problems, but found answers in a Real God. Today we will be talking about how temptations work, and how giving into temptation just once can lead to very severe consequences. Listen, there are certain temptations that will be presented one day in our lives, maybe you have already been tempted, and you have a story to tell. Why do temptations exist? And why is it so bad to give into them? Let's really try to understand this more as today, we will have Jed Lindstrom on the show. Jed had a good future ahead of him, until one day he was tempted with drugs at the age of 14. That one day forever changed his life, and we are going to talk about how one decision caused his life to spiral down into a life full of consequences and difficulty with Methamphetamines and cocaine.. But Jesus pulled him out of the pit, and saved his destiny. Jed, welcome to the show.

Hi this is Evangelist Anh Le, welcome to the Real Life Radio Show, and we
are going to talk to Real People, who had real problems, but found
answers in a Real God. Recently, we have been talking about the idea of atheists
becoming Christians, and posing the question, does it ever really happen? The short answer is, yes, and did you know that conversions are beginning to increase
over those who are forsaking their faith? In our last show, Ronald Dabdoub (Dabdoo) was describing how he forsook his childhood faith due to a misunderstanding about a legal lawsuit that occurred with the church he was raised in, and he was so hurt and angry about it, he decided to see that God wasn't real. He viewed religion as just a means of people trying to control other people, and he lived in such a way that kept any belief of God out of his life. But then as he got older, he got addicted to prescription opiods, and this addiction started to destroy his life, and he needed help. He went on a 30 day journey to see if God was real, and to see which God in the world was real. After 30 days, a close friend of him told him how to get to heaven and how to get to God, and he prayed that prayer to receive Christ. Today we are going to find out what that little prayer did to his life. Ronald, welcome back to the show.

Let's find out what this former atheist discovered in his life journey. Ronald, welcome to the show.

Hi This is Evangelist Anh Le, welcome to the
Real Life Radio Show, and we are going to talk to Real People, who had
real problems, but found answers in a Real God. Lately, we have been talking
about the epidemic of the addiction to prescription level opioids, and
what it is doing in our society, and what it does to an individual life.
Now, you wouldn't think a pain killer would be anything dangerous,
but painkillers now are being used in an illegal way in society because
of the power of this drug to activate the reward or pleasure centers of
the brain. This drug is a serious problem because as someone becomes
addicted to the high these pain killers provide, it can lead to
addiction despite the consequences of the behaviors used in order to get
that next high. The reason why it is so dangerous is because of the
unusual overdose numbers that happen with opioid addiction. In our last show
Luke Thomson how the addiction to pain killers really worked in his life, and how many people were hurt through the process, even he hurt himself literally. The drug gripped all of his emotions and motivations. Today, he is going to share how he got set free from this mindless craze for drugs, and how his mind got set free. Luke, welcome back to the show.

Hi this is Evangelist Anh Le, welcome to the Real Life Radio Show, and we
are going to talk to Real People, who had real problems, but found
answers in a Real God. Today we are going to talk about the difficulty of following a religion, vs. having an intimate connection with a Real God. There are currently over 2 billion Christians worldwide, but do all of them have a true intimate connection with Jesus Christ? Jesus warned us that not all people know Him truly, and many honor Him by mouth only, but how do you know the difference? Today we will have David Ursin, who will describe how his life was being a pastor's son, yet at the same time, outwardly following a religion, but then as he got older, he discovered that Jesus is the Savior, and there is only One True God. David, welcome to the show.

Hi this is Evangelist Anh Le, welcome to the Real Life Radio Show, and we
are going to talk to Real People, who had real problems, but found
answers
in a Real God. Lately we have been talking about the reality of the
path that drug use leads a person to, and its not a good path. Its a
path plagued with dangers, vulnerabilities, and exploitations, and as we are revealing Catherine Whisenand's testimony, the idea really gets across. Drugs will take you to a places you never thought you would ever be. In our last show, Catherine described a moment where she was blackmailed into giving sex to a group of men that basically turned into a gang rape. Nothing was discussed, they just said they have a way to absolve her debt, and then they gang raped her in an empty apartment building. But even after such a traumatic event, she was still slave to these older men for drugs. So she just had to stuff down the trauma, and act like it never happened so she could get her fix of drugs. Today, she is going to describe how it got worse as she walked into methamphetamine use. Catherine, welcome back to the show.

Its a path plagued with dangers, vulnerabilities, and exploitations, as in our last show we had Catherine Whisenand describe how she was raised having a lot of insecurities and awkwardness, that she never felt like she fit in with anyone. She grew up with a lot of needs, but one of those needs was what all desire, is the need to be accepted. No matter where she went, she never felt accepted, until she started meeting the crowd that smokes marijuana. She felt like if she smoked, she was suddenly accepted, so she found herself doing it so much that it would affect her life. Marijuana introduced her to her first husband, but the relationship ended after so much toxicity in the marriage. She was selling and using marijuana, but then she met another man who introduced her to crack cocaine. Her body became so addicted to this high that she started learning how to use sex in order to get money or more drugs. Today she is going to talk about the truth of where her path in life led her to a place of shock. Catherine, welcome back to the show.

Hi this is Evangelist Anh Le, welcome to the Real Life Radio Show, and we
are going to talk to Real People, who had real problems, but found
answers in a Real God. Today we are going to talk about how the pathway to drugs will always lead a person to a dangerous place that they never thought they would ever be. In the famous story of pinochio, we see a wooden boy wanting to be accepted into the world and following the world's doctrine of unlimited pleasure. And I think that movie really relates to mankind, because there are all sorts of things that are temptations that will lead us to something we never thought we would ever go through. Drugs is one of those temptations, that though you may have never experienced that, you are going to hear from Catherine Whisenand who became a drug addict through peer pressure when she was younger, and it led her to a horrible destructive pathway, where her life was brought forth into horrible situations. Catherine, welcome to the show.
