Hi This is Evangelist Anh Le, welcome to the
Real Life Radio Show, and we are going to talk to Real People, who had
real problems, but found answers in a Real God. Lately, we have been talking about whether or not you can be a true Christian while partying and doing
drugs. Surprisingly, many young and even older people claim to be
Christians, yet their lives don't match that of their faith profession.
It is more common than you think, as it is estimated that 1.2 billion
Christians are nominal non practicing Christians, but still identify as
being Christian. In our last show, we had Rebekah Cauchi share with us of her being raised in a Christian family, that had good values, but then when she was 13, her parents divorced, and that changed the trajectory of her life, and she rebelled and sought for acceptance in other people, and started partying and smoking marijuana. She told us of how she felt afterwards knowing she was doing these things yet claiming to be a Christian at the same time, and what it really was like for her. Today, she is going to share of what it was that happened when she couldn't live that way anymore. Rebekah, welcome to the show.

Hi this is Evangelist Anh Le, welcome to the Real Life Radio Show, and we
are going to talk to Real People, who had real problems, but found
answers in a Real God. Lately we have been talking about instant gratification,
and if living a lifestyle of going for whatever feels good is really a
good way to live or not. Now, our society is built upon instant
gratification. Everything is about getting it, and getting it now.
Which feels good at first, but is it really good for us? In our last show, we had Antonio Gonzales share with us how he grew up without his father, and never really had the father mentor in his life. He grew up with an intense desire to have fun and to party, and get his hands on whatever he could that would bring him that instant gratification. He told us how his lifestyle went from the parties, to the women, to the drugs and women, and he shared with us his growing addiction to ecstasy, but it wasn't enough. Today he is going to share more how this journey in his life began to wrap around him and choke the life from him. Antonio, welcome back to the show.

Hi This is Evangelist Anh Le, welcome to the
Real Life Radio Show, and we are going to talk to Real People, who had
real problems, but found answers in a Real God. Lately, we have been talking
about
how we live our lives, that one day, we are going to be looking back,
and all the bad things we have done will come up to our minds, our
consciousness, and there will be a longing to resolve those past issues,
but because they are in the past, they are unsolvable. What do we do
in that instance? What do we do when we realize, my gosh, my life has a
trail of hurting others, and destroying others lives. What can we do
with that? In our last show we had Willie Cordova who is a pastor today, but in his past, he grew up being raised in a Catholic School, but deep inside, he was longing for something more. He told us how a neighbor introduced him to marijuana at the age of 15, and at the time, he thought this was the more he was looking for in his life. Until eventually that led to other drugs such as cocaine and other drugs, but then the drug use became a job opportunity where he started selling the drugs to others. He told us that even when he tried to get set free from the addiction, and going to rehab, he ended up drug dealing even there because the drugs had too strong of a hold on him. He shared with us how someone led him through a prayer to invite Jesus in as Lord and Savior, but he didn't notice anything changing form that point, at least, not yet. Today he is going to continue to share with us the true consequences of that lifestyle that haunted his heart and mind.

My life was strung out on heroine addiction, and it eventually landed me in jail, where my life was nearly destroyed, but then I encountered the living God, who set me free into my destiny.
Hi this is Evangelist Anh Le, welcome to the Real Life Radio Show, and we are going
to talk to Real People, who had real problems, but found answers in a
Real God. Lately, we have been talking about how drug addiction has a romanticism about it, where people literally fall in love with the substance, almost like it is a
person, or a being, and that God can literally deliver someone from this
unhealthy love affair with the substance. And in our last show,
Joshua Zatkoff described how he had a lot of depression growing up as a
young child, and was even molested as a young man. There was a lot of
pent up pain and lack of zeal in his life, until he discovered
marijuana, mushrooms, painkillers, and then ended up having that love affair with heroine. He described the highs of heroine in detail, but then also contrasted that with the withdrawal symptoms, which were unbearable to hear of the pain one would go through. Today, he is going to share how this landed him in jail, and there he says he encountered a real God who set him free from drug addiction.

I had such a love for mushrooms, the places my mind would go, but then it got redundant, and I found something new to fill that space in my life.

There was a lot of pent up pain and lack of zeal in his life, until he discovered marijuana, like he met the love of his life. He described the relationship with drugs was often romanticized about, and that it was very much about the process of getting high that he learned to love. He couldn't live life without the marijuana, until it led him to other drugs, where he eventually got hooked on mushrooms. He described his experiences with mushrooms as a very spiritual one, where he would have these thoughts that he would ponder for hours, like he was learning secrets that he would think upon for hours, while he was on mushrooms. He learned to fall in love with mushrooms, until he told us that the thoughts and the spiritual lessons became redundant, and kind of boring. Today he is going to talk about other substances that he learned to love and become dependent upon.
