Hi this is Evangelist Anh Le, welcome to the Real Life Radio Show, and we
are going to talk to Real People, who had real problems, but found
answers in a Real God. in our last show, we have been talking about runaway children, and the adverse dangers they face to a world that is ready to harm them.
Why do children runaway? Many children runaway due to experiencing
abuse, bullying of some sort, mental health difficulties, and several
other issues that can occur in the home. Did you know that 7% of youth
in the USA ran away at sometime during the ages of 12 to 17? What are
the realities of that for each child? Well, in our last show, we had Tiffany Joy Grant who ran away at a young age due to divorce occuring in her family, at the same time she suffered from some mental health difficulties. She ran away to find love and security within friends, but later she found out those who called themselves friends weren't real friends, as she was raped by someone who was helping her to have a place to stay. She quickly found refuge back at home, but didn't tell her mom due to internal shame, but even that incident couldn't keep her home long, and she ran away again and again, until she ended up in Juvenile hall. In there, she was reunited with her parents, but diagnosed with many mental health issues, and she was put on medication, but according to her, not to much avail. Today she is going to share how things got worse, but eventually, Jesus got a hold of her heart, and she had a radical change. Tiffany, welcome back to the show.

Hi this is Evangelist Anh Le, welcome to the Real Life Radio Show, and we
are going to talk to Real People, who had real problems, but found
answers in a Real God. Lately, we have been talking about whether or not someone
who is very selfish and destructive can ever change their ways. Many
feel like once someone is a selfish person, that they will always be
that way. In the American Psychological Association Dictionary,
selfishness is listed as the tendency to act excessively or solely in a
manner that benefits oneself, even if others are disadvantaged. Have
you ever been around someone like this? In our last show we had Salim Muslimani share with us how he grew up feeling insignificant, and went on a hunt to find significance in his life with relationships, drugs, and partying. One thing that stuck out, was his ways being very self focused, and there was an extreme amount of selfishness in his life. He told us how he got married, and the selfish ways continued, until one day, Jesus Christ got a hold of him, and gave him a new heart, and new motives. Salim, welcome back to the show.

Hi this is Evangelist Anh Le, welcome to the Real Life Radio Show, and we are going to talk to Real People, who had real problems, but found answers in a Real God. Lately we have been talking about Bulimia Nervosa, a condition which mostly affects 1.3 % of females, and 0.5% of males, but it is a condition where someone binge eats, and then purges (vomits) up all their food so as not to gain weight. Listener discretion is advised, as the content you are about to hear is intended for a mature audience only. The causes of Bulimia are unknown to scientists, but they know that it can run in families. Why would someone torture themselves by being so obsessed with weight gain enough to go through extremes of making themselves throw up all their food? Are there severe consequences to this behavior? Yes there are. In our last show we had Marcela Eslao tell us how bulimia became addicting to her because so many praised her for the accomplishments she had attained in her career, everyone was cheering her on, she was convinced she was doing the right thing. She described how hard on herself she was, to the point of self punishment that she even once inflicted serious injuries to herself using a knife on her arm, practicing self mutilation. One day she couldn't gag herself to throw up anymore, and that was the day that she lost everything and she gave up. She was at the lowest of the low, and all those who were with her in the success were no where to be found. Marcela, welcome back to the show.

Lately, we have been talking about the reality and
temptation of getting mad at God, and we are going to discover some of the
base roots that accompany that emotion and frustration that a person can feel.
Did you know that 1/3 to 2/3rd's of Americans admitted to sometime in
their lives feeling angry at God? When certain unfortunate changes in
life happen, like financial issues, divorce, surprise medical diagnoses,
death of family members, etc. they can leave one with the temptation
to blame God for the wrongdoing. Doing so can sometimes lead a person
to go the exact opposite way God intended for them to go. But if this
happens,
is the person redeemable at all? In our last show, we had Sherry Damron who grew up in a Christian home, ended up in a horrible marriage and then a divorce that set her on a course of running away from God. She told us how she secretly made a living as a prostitute, and the reality of the pain she felt in that lifestyle, and how she drowned her pain in drugs, alcohol, and parties. She hit rock bottom, and then this is where Jesus met her. Today she is going to talk about how God took her back, and how God had an amazing vision for her life. Sherry, welcome back to the show.

Hi this is Evangelist Anh Le, welcome to the Real Life Radio Show, and we
are going to talk to Real People, who had real problems, but found
answers
in a Real God. Recently we have been talking about living a shallow life
that craves attention, money, power, influence, and wealth, and that the
pursuit of happiness can lead to even less happiness. Why is that?
Seeking happiness is the American dream, yet so many Americans are so
unhappy, living off of anti-depressents and prozac. How is this
possible? In our last show, we had Tina Gallo talk about her experiences in Hollywood, starring in shows like General Hospital, and many other movies, and she motivation was to get attention, and validation, as she was missing a lot of that from an absentee mother. She didn't even know why she was doing what she was doing, but inside, she had a need of feeling loved and accepted by those around her. She quickly mad e it up the ladder, and her goal was to make it to the top in order to find happiness. The closer she arrived, the more empty if felt. Today, she is going to talk about how empty it all was, and how she discover some secrets about faith in Jesus Christ, that revolutionized her life. Tina, welcome to the show.

Lately we have been talking a little bit the concept of purity, and what happens when someone loses it, can they ever really get it back? In our last show, we had Amanda Armstrong, who told us how she grew up with low self esteem from being molested at a young age. From the molestation, she grew up with a lot of anxiety and depression, and fear of men. She told us how as she grew older, she had an intense need and desire to feel loved, and she found herself getting that from men in a wrong way. As she grew up, she would be in these very toxic unhealthy relationships where abuse and cheating were an often occurrence. At that point, her purity dropped to an all time low where she shared with us how she was open to cheating in order to get revenge, and was with several relationships that all ended up not working out. She couldn't stop being in these relationships, and at 29, she made a hard-line commitment to not have sex anymore out of marriage. Today she is going to tell us how she discovered a life of purity even after being in such a dark place in her life. Amanda, welcome to the show.
