meth can be so destructive to a person's life, that it completely
changes someone from the inside out. Did you know there is quite a
popularity with Crystal Methamphetamine's and it is known as the
clubbing drug. This drug is so addictive, and after awhile, the user will start experiencing bad symptoms of paranoia, anxiety, violent behavior, and insomnia. Eliot was left feeling abandoned and rejected, and found acceptance with friends at raves who were doing ecstasy, and after awhile of resisting taking the drugs, he finally caved in and fell in love with the drug. Today he is going to talk about this be the catalyst of him smoking crystal meth, and it nearly destroyed his life. Eliot, welcome back to the show.

Hi this is Evangelist Anh Le, welcome to the Real Life Radio Show, and we
are going to talk to Real People, who had real problems, but found
answers in a Real God. Today we are going to talk about the meaning of life, and provide evidence for the answer to one question, is the pursuit of pleasure the ultimate meaning of life? A lot of people would say so. That the point of life is to work hard, seek fun things to gain pleasure. Seems common sense right? According to neuroscientists, the human mind is wired to seek rewards for evolutionary purposes, and things that signal to the brain as pleasurable is how the human mind is made for the survival of mankind. Now, yes, we all seek pleasure to some sort of degree, and that is normal, but what happens when that reward system in the brain gets locked onto the wrong thing? Today, we will have Mickyle James Eshelman on our show who just wanted to live a happy life, and then in his pursuit of that, somehow fell into heroine addiction, and his sole purpose in life was to do anything to get that next high. But today, he has been set free from this addiction, and discovered the true meaning to his life. Mickyle, welcome to the show.

Listen, there are certain temptations that will be presented one day in our lives, maybe you have already been tempted, and you have a story to tell. Why do temptations exist? And why is it so bad to give into them? Let's really try to understand this more as today, we will have Jed Lindstrom on the show. Jed had a good future ahead of him, until one day he was tempted with drugs at the age of 14. That one day forever changed his life, and we are going to talk about how one decision caused his life to spiral down into a life full of consequences and difficulty with Methamphetamines and cocaine.. Hi this is Evangelist Anh Le, welcome to the Real Life Radio Show, and we
are going to talk to Real People, who had real problems, but found
answers in a Real God. Recently, we have been talking about the idea of atheists
becoming Christians, and posing the question, does it ever really happen? The short answer is, yes, and did you know that conversions are beginning to increase
over those who are forsaking their faith? In our last show, Ronald Dabdoub (Dabdoo) was describing how he forsook his childhood faith due to a misunderstanding about a legal lawsuit that occurred with the church he was raised in, and he was so hurt and angry about it, he decided to see that God wasn't real. He viewed religion as just a means of people trying to control other people, and he lived in such a way that kept any belief of God out of his life. But then as he got older, he got addicted to prescription opiods, and this addiction started to destroy his life, and he needed help. He went on a 30 day journey to see if God was real, and to see which God in the world was real. After 30 days, a close friend of him told him how to get to heaven and how to get to God, and he prayed that prayer to receive Christ. Today we are going to find out what that little prayer did to his life. Ronald, welcome back to the show.

Hi This is Evangelist Anh Le, welcome to the
Real Life Radio Show, and we are going to talk to Real People, who had
real problems, but found answers in a Real God. Lately, we have been talking
about the epidemic of the addiction to prescription level opioids, and
what it is doing in our society, and what it does to an individual life.
Now, you wouldn't think a pain killer would be anything dangerous,
but painkillers now are being used in an illegal way in society because
of the power of this drug to activate the reward or pleasure centers of
the brain. This drug is a serious problem because as someone becomes
addicted to the high these pain killers provide, it can lead to
addiction despite the consequences of the behaviors used in order to get
that next high. The reason why it is so dangerous is because of the
unusual overdose numbers that happen with opioid addiction. In our last show
Luke Thomson how the addiction to pain killers really worked in his life, and how many people were hurt through the process, even he hurt himself literally. The drug gripped all of his emotions and motivations. Today, he is going to share how he got set free from this mindless craze for drugs, and how his mind got set free. Luke, welcome back to the show.

Hi this is Evangelist Anh Le, welcome to the Real Life Radio Show, and we
are going to talk to Real People, who had real problems, but found
answers
in a Real God. Lately we have been talking about the reality of the
path that drug use leads a person to, and its not a good path. Its a
path plagued with dangers, vulnerabilities, and exploitations, and as we are revealing Catherine Whisenand's testimony, the idea really gets across. Drugs will take you to a places you never thought you would ever be. In our last show, Catherine described a moment where she was blackmailed into giving sex to a group of men that basically turned into a gang rape. Nothing was discussed, they just said they have a way to absolve her debt, and then they gang raped her in an empty apartment building. But even after such a traumatic event, she was still slave to these older men for drugs. So she just had to stuff down the trauma, and act like it never happened so she could get her fix of drugs. Today, she is going to describe how it got worse as she walked into methamphetamine use. Catherine, welcome back to the show.
