In today's testimony, we have been talking about living a shallow life that craves attention, money, power, influence, and wealth, and that the pursuit of happiness can lead to even less happiness. Why is that?
Seeking happiness is the American dream, yet so many Americans are so unhappy, living off of anti-depressants and Prozac. How is this possible? In our last show, we had Tina Gallo talk about her experiences in Hollywood, starring in shows like General Hospital, and many other movies, and she motivation was to get attention, and validation, as she was missing a lot of that from an absentee mother. She didn't even know why she was doing what she was doing, but inside, she had a need of feeling loved and accepted by those around her. She quickly mad e it up the ladder, and her goal was to make it to the top in order to find happiness. The closer she arrived, the more empty if felt. Today, she is going to talk about how empty it all was, and how she discover some secrets about faith in Jesus Christ, that revolutionized her life.
