In today's testimony we have been talking about the reality and temptation of getting mad at God, and we are going to discover some of the base roots that accompany that emotion and frustration that a person can feel.
Did you know that 1/3 to 2/3rd's of Americans admitted to sometime in
their lives feeling angry at God? When certain unfortunate changes in life happen, like financial issues, divorce, surprise medical diagnoses, death of family members, etc. they can leave one with the temptation to blame God for the wrongdoing. Doing so can sometimes lead a person
to go the exact opposite way God intended for them to go. But if this happens, is the person redeemable at all? In our last show, we had Sherry Damron who grew up in a Christian home, tell us how she married into a very abusive marriage, and one day she couldn't take it anymore and she snapped. She divorced her husband, and then left the church, left God, and decided to do a life that was anything but godly, and she became a prostitute. Today she is going to share with us the dark realities of the choices she made, and then she is going to share with us how God redeemed her story. Sherry, welcome back to the show.
